Description:

This career education program provides transfer education, basic and upgrading skills for students interested in the high demand automotive service industry.  Basic knowledge and skills development are the primary and major portion of courses that are offered.  Instructors have access to a wide variety of update training opportunities offered by the college and outside sources.  The primary outreach activity that is being pursued is by having frequent advisory committee meetings for program direction.  Other activities are to provide information to the counseling outreach office to disseminate program information.

  • Facilities are large and divided into focused instructional areas.
  • Curriculum reflects industry standards identified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) in all eight primary areas of ASE.

  • Entry level through advanced training is available.
