All key requests are handled through the Division/Department Offices. A key request form must be completed listing all rooms that need to be accessed. Each key must be approved by signature of the appropriate Administrator. For Part-time faculty who teach only evenings or weekends, special arrangements can be made for key check-out.
Please lock your room/area when you leave. Upon arrival, if you find your room/area unlocked, please report it to your Administrator. When you request Public Safety to open a room for you, be prepared to show your GWC Staff ID and a photo ID. Help ensure that all students are adequately supervised when using school facilities under your control and direction. When instructors leave a classroom, the door is to be locked and no students should be left inside unless the next instructor is physically present.
When picking up or returning keys we ask that all previously issued keys be brought in for verification.
Keys should be returned for rooms that are not assigned to the individual for the following semester. No new keys will be issued until all other key issues have been resolved.
ALL KEYS MUST BE RETURNED UPON RESIGNATION, RETIREMENT, END OF ASSIGNMENT, OR TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT.
