Golden West College offers two license programs in Cosmetology and Esthetician. They are designed to develop the knowledge, skills and techniques necessary to prepare for the state licensure examination and successful initial employment. GWC Cosmetology students maintain a high pass/fail ratio for the state licensing test.

A major in Cosmetology can lead to an Associate in Arts Degree (AA). Meet with a GWC counselor for course requirements.

One of Huntington Beach's oldest salons is located on the campus of Golden West College. In business since GWC opened in 1966, Cosmetology Services has been providing an important dual function: Giving students an opportunity for advanced training; and bringing community members onto the campus, where they learn about the college and receive an affordable, quality service.
