The James Jordan Memorial Nursing Pillar

Helping Others. This pillar is dedicated to the memory of James Jordan by his cousin Tom Swanson.

James’ first career was selling typewriters throughout Wyoming until he followed his dreams of becoming a pilot. He worked hard to make this a reality, and secured a pilot position with United Airlines. He flew for United Airlines until his mandatory retirement at age sixty between Los Angeles and Honolulu.

Tom Swanson has made the commitment to support those following their dreams and honoring his cousin by creating the James Jordan Memorial Scholarship fund to help nursing students achieve a successful career.
