Guidelines for Submissions
All submissions must be typed
No more than 1000 words
Double-spaced
1” margins around paper
Times New Roman or Courier New with font size 12
Students may submit only one creative writing piece
NO name, address, or phone number on the paper – writing pieces will be assigned a number
Contestants must be a GWC student with a current College Service Sticker for Spring 2012
Students may enter both the Creative Writing and Poetry Contests
IMPORTANT DATES
Students must deliver their creative writing entry in person to the Student Activities Office, located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center by Friday, March 23rd by noon.
Each creative writing piece will be assigned a number.
Announcement of winners will be made the week of April 16th.
