Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead
The Intercultural Program, PUENTE Program, and the PUENTE Club invite you to observe Dia de los Muertos on Thursday, November 1st.
A community altar comprised of student-built dedications will be on display for 24 hours, beginning at 11:00 am Thursday, and ending on Friday, November 2nd at 11:00 am. Please stop by to see our altars.
Additionally, there will be pan dulce, churros, and hot chocolate for sale in the morning by the PUENTE Club and Program–and nachos for sale in the early afternoon by the Mi Casa Club.
If you would like to include your deceased loved one(s) on our community altar, please feel free to e-mail a photo to lortega@gwc.cccd.edu. All pictures will be printed in black and white and included on the main altar. The deadline to submit photos is 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 1st.
