Language Arts Complex - Measure M:
The new Language Arts Complex is nearly complete and Commissioning of the building, which involves running and testing the building controls and systems, will take place this week. Noise level will be minimal for these activities.
GenEd Bldg Demo Project - Campus and Measure M:
The demolition process of one of the remaining buildings and the surrounding area will resume again this week. There will be activity within the fence, including disconnecting the water supply to that building and capping sewers and storm drains. Grading equipment may begin arriving at the site later in the week. Expected demo completion is uncertain and dependent upon future rain. The new landscaping is anticipated to be in place by the end of the spring 2024 semester, weather permitting. Construction vehicle activity will impact the parking lot near Auto Tech and the Native Garden, and the access road along Auto Tech, north of the site. Extra care should be taken along the access road. There is no pedestrian access within the construction fence. Noise level will be low to moderate for these activities. Business 108 Project - Campus:
Business 108 is being renovated, please watch for construction vehicles and workers in the vicinity. Noise level will be low for these activities. (See attached map [PDF] for work area)
Painting in Math & Science bldg. - Campus:
Painters will be in the Math & Science bldg. painting room 347 this week. Please watch for work vehicles. Noise level will be low for this activity. (See attached map [PDF] for work area)
