CONSTITUTION OF THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS
We, the students of Golden West College, do establish by this Constitution a governingcoalition committed to assemble and organize the student body for the overall welfare ofthe students. The purpose of the Associated Students is to assure effective studentrepresentation and participation at Golden West College through action and in concertwith other constituencies of the college; participate in the formation and improvement ofeducational programs; protect full freedom of assembly and expression in the collegecommunity; articulate and represent the student interests in the operation of the campus;provide services and coordinate activities for the students; and advance the commoninterest and concern of the students. We, therefore, do hereby establish this Constitution.
