Resolve to set yourself up for Spring 2025 success with our Winter CIL programming! This January, we are featuring sessions on employing pre-semester strategies for welcoming and inclusive courses, creating and curating no-cost classroom resources (ZTC and OER), and understanding RSI requirements for online courses (multiple sessions). Folks presenting at the Summit, or who are simply interested in enhancing their presentation and facilitation skills, should also join us for a session centered on presenting to colleagues.
* Stipends of $100 will be paid for full-time and part-time faculty for each winter session attended.
We wish you a peaceful end to the semester, a joyous holiday season, and an engaging and enriching year of professional development in 2025!

This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the key regulations governing Regular Substantive Interaction (RSI) in distance education, with a focus on ACCJC accreditation standards and Title 5 requirements. We will begin by exploring these regulations in detail, ensuring participants understand the legal and accreditation obligations for RSI. Faculty will then discuss what has worked for them on their own RSI journey. Participants should come to the session ready to share their ideas, best practices, and engage in rich discussion and Q&A centered on RSI to ensure participants have a clear understanding of the relevant laws and regulations, effective practices, and the tools and programs available.
