Hello, my name is Denise Gonzalez Bon. I am so grateful to be celebrating 10 years of the College Autism Program & The LOOP at GWC.
I have watched our program grow from a small social group to a thriving academic program and community at GWC. I am so proud of our students and believe each one has an opportunity to grow and be content in their college experience. My goals are to continue to meet each student where they are at in their academic & social journey, & to help them realize their potential.
I have over 20 years working in the mental health field, over 15 years at GWC counseling and 10 years working with Autistic students. It has been my dream to cultivate a community and program where Autistic students feel safe and valued.

Hello! My name is Casper (they/them) and I am a passionate advocate for the Autistic community and a graduate of GWC. I started my working with CAP in early 2023 as a volunteer, assisting Denise with educational presentations for faculty and staff; I am now overjoyed to be an official part of the team! I have multiple disabilities, including Autism, so I know firsthand what it means to be a disabled college student. It is an honor to be able to serve our Autistic students and support their success.
