Accreditation is a continuous process that facilitates constant evaluation with the goal of improving programs, services, and institutional effectiveness. Golden West College (GWC) takes the accreditation process very seriously and continues to engage in dialogues and processes to ensure that the College not only meet, but exceed the standards set by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). The ACCJC has provided 12 common questions and answers to provide basic information about regional accreditation to college staff and students. Outside from ACCJC, GWC is also accredited by Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing for its Nursing program.
